In a rush

There is a wide variety in our cabinet
for those in a rush or with a sweet tooth.
We try to change it around a bit. The Scottish baps
with eggs bacon on brie &the roast beef sandwiches
with horseradish and onion marmalade are mainstays. 


Dessert Jars

Earl Grey Tea Panna Cotta comes with a Shortbread Crust and 
blackberries poached in Cabernet and Cinnamon. Reminiscent of Trifles
for British days gone by cuisine. 


Garam Chicken

This dish came about in a effort to work with Butter Chicken,
one of the biggest selling curries in Britain and bring it into modern cuisine .
The blanched then grilled baby leeks give a healthy twist.
The Barley is cooked in a rich onion stock creating a Risotto texture
with that old worldly grain thing happening. It's a little healthier than just plain 
white rice. If you want a traditional curry go to an Indian restaurant.
This is twisted British fare New world style. 



Notting Hill Salad

This popular breakfast salad 
is the result of trying to make Black Pudding
a little more inviting than just serving it up on a breakfast fry up.
The balance of the Red Oak Lettuce and the Heirloom Tomato 
offset the strong flavour of the Black Sausage.
The slow egg just adds to the contradiction of whether
this is a breakfast or a lunch
